Cool Confident not Cocky....

This is my first post, so let me introduce myself . My name is Alex and I am curently assigned to 1/3 SFG at fort bragg. I've been in the army for 4 years now, and have had three MOS's it's been a long 4 years. Anyway, ever since i joined i wanted to be a "quiet professional," and about a two momths ago i finally dropped my packet, did my physical and attended my briefing. I'm off to SFAS class 5-05 in March. I myself being the type of person I am finally think this is where i'm supposed to be. I've been promotable for about two years. Every time i get close to the cut-off score it goes up or branch consolidates the jobs. I haven't really stop chasing points, but i've focused my eyes on the prize that Green Beret. I know I going to make it through, it's just a matter of getting there. I don't won't to sound cocky, just confident i've been given all the tools to succeed, and now i'm ready to put them to use. I've already completed PLDC, Airborne School, and Air Assault School, so i think the sky is the limit now........thoughts, comments, suggestions please

Are you going to SOPC? I wouldn't tell anyone I was support from Group. Most support guys from Group I met were pretty cocky since they thought they knew it all IE G2 for SFAS/SFQC.

you're right

you are so right. I've only been in group since Dec. I've already met the support guys who have the stories and no green beret. I've been telling them thank, but no thank you for their help. I'm going to do this one on my on. about the the G2 yea, they've told me what they did, but they don't have the beret to show for it, so why should i listen to them. before coming to group i was in a LRSC unit, all we did was train that's why i think i can make it. Mentally, and Physically.

If I may... Focus on what goes IN the head, not ON the head.
