Macrolide Antibiotic

My doc prescribed BIAXIN XL 500 mg. My pharmacist Advised me not to take this drug because of interaction with TAMBORCOR and LIPITOR. He called my doc and ask for another drug. I was told by doc's office to stop take LIPITOR while taking BIAXIN

No Sweat

Listen to your Doc's office. Pharmacist's are smart folks about drugs and interactions, their computers tell them so. Biaxin is good meds-hope you feel better soon.
