Latest from EGL - Expansion Pox for Kifaru packs and Other Gear

All,

Got my new Marauder and it is the 'shizznit' as some would say. So much so, that the first thing I did was figger out what I could slap on the sides of this thing and unleash the hounds of cordura. Enjoy.... now to make more mischief maker gear

Being that I like beavertails I made one for the marauder that uses the existing hardware.

topside of the beavertail, replete with a velcro patch for tags. Stock Marauders did not have enough room to slap velcro onto the main panel. Side view of smallside ute and 6AR mag pouch.

Beavertail Down. Now you can strap up any loose articles or snow shovels.

Nice.

Look like they would lend themselves easily to a mag shingle.

Told ya more to come...

Har! Ye who've asked for it....Behold what happens to a FUGLY after being hit by Dr. Evil's cloning device...The HAFFAFUG (Half a FUGly for the grammatically challenged)

After going through OPS Dynamic tactics course I found that the old design of the FUGLY may interfere with shouldering weapons by those who have the fugly offset on a bib (mind you, not the original design concept ) Anyhow, I have drawn up two counters to this potential issue. One is that FUGLYS are now going to be 1 inch narrower in width. Two, I have created a smaller HAFFAFUG to satisfy the needs of those who don't necessarily need to carry as much stuff or are now on the ATKINS Pogey Bait diet.

Several folks from LF and other boards have contacted me regarding what they liked and disliked about the fugly and most all of their commentary went into the design of the HAFFA. Essentially a two pocket design (same rough dims as the main pocket of the Fugly) but there is the inclusion of elastic webbing on the inside of the pouch to hold chemlites (holds 5), shears, Cigars, MLCMM/VSMM gear etc.

Have tried this out on my Wasatch and MLCS chest rig to good results... read no interference.

cheerios!
