Enlisted to Officer Transition

I will be enlisting into the Army after I graduate college in the summer of 2010 under the 18X option. If I make it into the SF community as an enlisted member and at a later date decide to go to OCS how will i transition back to SF? I understand that I have to be a Captain and go through the Officer training of SF to be back within the SF community.

I have utilized the search button and came up with no information (sorry if I missed it). I have been told by one recruiter that if I went to OCS with prior SF training that I would come out as a Captain and head right back to SF. Another told me that I would be a 2nd Lieutenant and go back to SF and do admin things until I was a Captain or 1st Lieutenant promotable and go through the Officer training then.

You missed it.

The odds of you making it into SF are much too long for you to be worrying beyond that. Your recruiters do not know what they are talking about, BTW.

Focus on the 25 meter target. Learn to search and read. Do not start new threads for a while.
