At Least 60 Dead in Huge Blast at Pakistan Hotel

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan — A huge truck bomb devastated the Marriott Hotel in Pakistan's capital Saturday, creating a chaotic, fiery scene as rescue crews searched for survivors. At least 60 people reportedly have been killed, including one American.

This hotel (Marriott) is used by all visiting parties and Countries going to Pakistan. The hotel stopped openly selling alcohol is its restaurants and bar after it was bombed in Jan 2007 and they closed or changed their disco to a westerns only bar.

Its been and busy year in Pakistan for DOS and DOD visit.

I feel this bombing was due to a key visit and targeted.

Lets see the US consulate vehicle attacked in Peshawar at the end of last month and now this. I think as more military action (US escalations) in Pakistan to targeted Al Qaeda Hideouts in the FATA. The militants will start targeting US or Western interest in Pakistan.

It will be a busy years end in Pakistan.
