M4 Weapons Case, who's got the best one out there?
I own a no-nmae case and it fits my purpose/needs but I was wondering what everyone else is using.

I am trying to get Eagle to make a discrete carry case for the shorty M-4 (CQB-R). No joy so far. I have a number of the regular Eagle carry cases for the M-4s, and they work just fine.
kgoerz has a good design as well.

Hard case: Hardigg (Storm Case) 3100
Soft Case: MM's I-Case looks really nice (google it)
Backpack Case: Eberlestock makes some nice stuff
Personally, all my guns roll in Storm Cases, and they are making their precut close cell foam inserts easily available to the public now too. When the I-Case is orderable again, I may add one of those for in vehicle carry, and more of a discreet signature.

I've got a Pelican 1720 hard case for the scoped varmint rifle.
I'm looking for a soft case for the assault rifle. You got a link for the I-case? My googlefu didn't work.

If your not looking for Mag storage in dedicated pouches inside the bag, and dont have a Bi-lock on your Mk18, and dont have a Crane stock or the rubber butt pad on the Vltor, then the Eagle Colt SMG bag will work
I have a 1 Off Eagle bag that looks like a Camera Tripod or Antenna type bag, but will hold a broken down Mk18 with suppressor attached.

Discreet case
Reaper,
I occasionally go to HP rifle matches in the Peoples Republic of New Jersey. The best in discreet is a padded soft guitar case, such as the the ones made by Fender
http://www.fender.com/products//sear...asesandgigbags
Nobody will question that you are carrying anything but a guitar,. I use it when loading up the truck so passersby or neighbors don't freak out when they see a standard black gun type case.

If you don't mind separating upper and lower, a large duffle bag with a jacket or sweatpants folded up under and over the two halves as padding works well for a discreet and compact solution.

I looked for a while at some of the more expensive soft cases and finally was introduced to a former VP of sales develpment for www.opsgear.com
He showed me the Condor Outdoor carbine and rifle case. Amazing quality, big fat zippers and top notch craftmanship. Each case comes with three MOLLE pouches. Two that will hold four M4 30 rounders easlily and a larger pouch for eyes and ears and gloves and some CLP. The MOLLE pouches also have the elastic tightners to secure the mags or other gear from rattling.
Comes with both a padded shoulder strap and the usual velcro fastner carry handle. Also has fastex buckles on top and bottom of the case if you want to cinch in the top and bottom a bit tighter.
I can't say enough about the quality of these cases. They are same quality or better than Eagle and BHI discreet cases.
Price is only $59.99 plus shipping.
I ordered two of the carbine size cases. 36"x12"x3" Fit's my standard 16" barreled AR's with retractable stocks perfectly. the case also has two velcro straps to secure the carbine or rifle in place inside the case. Very thick cell foamed linings also. I belive the "Rifle case" is 42"x12x3"

Thick padding is normally a characteristic of open-cell foam, which is not good for the long term health of your weapon.
Durability may not be an issue now, but I am not sure how long they will hold up. With an Eagle case, the materials alone cost more than Condor is charging for the finished bag. I have Eagle cases that are over 20 years old and are still working well. A warranty will not be much good to you if you are in a bad place when something fails though. On the few occasions I have had something break, like when the baggage handlers let a duffel bag drag on the tarmac as they hauled it around the airport, Eagle has been very quick to repair and return the items.
I would also ask where these cases are being made. Most of the Condor products on the web site look like knock-offs of other people's designs.
Not necessarily a knock, I just am naturally suspicious till a product (and a manufacturer) prove themselves over a period of time. I would let the Airsoft customers sort that out for them in the interim.
Just my .02, YMMV.

This is the Bag I had made. Don't have any left but if someone knows a Gear maker who can make it here I have no problem with them copying it for anyone.
