Uniform for the "Q"

I searched but was not able to find any info on the uniform req for the q. Was wondering if we'd be able to wear other than Army issue boots duriing the q? I have a pair of Altima's that I wear to work now that are the only thing that doesn't tear my feet up. Also, are we allowed to use altered rucks? I have a ruck from Tactical tailor, or at least the better straps? Any help would help. Thanks for your time.

The SFAS and Q course requirements can be linked to by going through AKO plus there are tons of threads here on the subject.

1. Locate the Search button in the upper right hand corner and think really hard before starting new threads. SF is all about people who had fend for themselves and are self-starters. This site has been up and running for four years. There are very few questions that have not been asked before.

2. You will be told what is to be brought and what is authorized or not before you load out for Phase II.

3. Read as many threads as you can before posting, that will broaden your knowledge and permit you to learn from those who have gone before you.

Best of luck.
