Raymond F. Flaherty
Ray died yesterday, September 11, 2006 in Merritt Island, Fl. He served in the 82nd ABN, 101st ABN, 9th ABN Ranger Company, 187th ABN RCT, 15th Inf Regt (Korea), 508th ABN RCT, 7th (White Star), 1st (VN) and 5th (VN) SF Groups. He is the author of He Didn't Say Goodbye. He had been awarded The Silver Star, the Bronze Star, two Purple Hearts and the second award of the Combat Infantryman Badge. RIP Ray.
