I have all the prerequisites complete, including DLAB, Physical, etc. I just need to translate my resume into a good format. I have a lot of experience such as 5 years enlisted at 1/75, and 5 years as a cop, and now PL time in OEF IV. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

Ranger7 have the courtesy to fill in your profile before you start asking for things.
Use the format you are given, if any. If none is provided, do the best that you can.
"....how can I improve my chances of being selected to attend selection, and then actually selected?"
Do some Googling, use the Search button above, read all of the Intros and stickies, and follow the instructions in the SFAS Prep handbook you should have gotten. That should let you know what is recommended. There is an excellent SFAS officer perspective here, if you want to search for it.
Good luck.
