Used to visit the site often for research and entertainment purposes. Now I am back to stay in the loop with current events and SIGACTS.

5th GRP from '08-'14; 18B and 18F. Didn't really want to hang it up...but priorities change and some situations dictate necessary action.

Previous activities include being a Dog Face Soldier for a bit before making my way to Bragg and the Deuce.

Introduction

Hello gentlemen,

My name is Aaron. I am here to learn as much as possible about Special Forces prior to enlisting. My plan is to enlist as a Rep-63 in fall 2016. I live close to Springfield, MA so my goal is to join C Company 1/20th Group. I have a bachelors degree and currently work as a pharmacy technician. I am also enrolled in an EMT training program. The rest of my time is spent getting mentally and physically prepared for the road ahead. Thank you for the opportunity to observe a small part of your world.

Currently 88M reservist working a packet to "re-enlist" under 18X. Apparently according to the prior-service business rules and my TIS, I have the opportunity to go through OUST and SOPC. Seems like the best an most likely way to make it to SFAS well prepared. 6 weeks into a hybrid workout between the THOR3 lifting routine and the GET SELECTED run/ruck plan and swimming on "off" days. Reading "Unbeatable Mind" by Mark Divine. Have to wait for a conditional release from the reserve in order for this to go operational- cautiously optimistic about it coming through.

Hello Quiet Professionals! I am 27 years old and I am new to the military. Before I joined, I was working in sales. I enlisted as 11x and was given a opportunity to try for SFAS as 18x. I am very thankful for the help and guidance provided by the SF cadre at Ft Benning, student company, SOPC and BLC. I am looking forward to start the Q-Course soon to become Special Forces Communication Sergeant. Thank you for running this forum and setting up recruits and Q-Course students for success.

Greetings,

My name is Yasiin, I'm a college freshman going into the national guard. I used to visit this site just for fun, but recently I have started to become serious about joining the military, and, consequently, special forces later on in my career. I hope to glean from this site as much information as possible so as to be successful in my endeavors. You guys are, to me, modern heroes and I hope to one day join your ranks. Thank you for all that you do, and all that you've done.

Hi all,

My nickname is T, I probably answer to T faster than my full name. I was a former college athlete and played softball. Completed my BA in Social Science and currently in Financial Services. - Chasing that dream...

Love our community...

Blessed with few friends and never a complaint about sunny SD.

Hey all,

I'm currently a project manager at a tech company, but will be shipping to OSUT-AIT at Benning in March on an 18x contract. Chasing a dream/calling. Doing what I can to prepare for the road ahead. Joined this site because I am trying to accomplish what you already have. Thanks for the advice and resource.

Introduction

Hello, gentlemen. I am a current senior in college, and will graduate with a B.S. in Physics this spring (May 2016). I am actively working with a recruiter in the Charlotte NC area to secure an 18x contract. I am a former NCAA Division 1 wrestler, and I am currently rucking, running, lifting, and reading to prepare myself for the road ahead. I am currently knee deep in Get Selected!, what an outstanding guide. Thank you all for your service, and I am eager to continue reading to glean as much information as possible.

Hi I am 19 years old and I'm a student at Michigan state university. I am seeking to further gain knowledge in this field. I am very interested in joining the Military, it is something I have always wanted to do, as I have a strong urge to serve this country that has given me so much. Joining the military runs in my family as my dad, and My grandparents all served.

I would like to thank all who have served and took the ultimate risk to defend this country. Thank you.

I served w/ 1st, 3rd, 7th and 10th SFG(A)...at least until I got tired of each Group and did something new...hence the global name. I am retired now working a SOF/USSOCOM WW program. Thanks for the signup...now let me figure out how to use this site. Fortunately, I have a fellow SFer who works here with me who does what he's told...thanks!
cheers!
