New Sig

A few days ago I picked up a certified pre owned Sig P220.
I really like the feel, the trigger crispness and ease of cleaning this handgun.
Trying to make time to shoot.
This is along with happy thoughts of moving into a condo, going with wife
for new carpets, sofa, chair etc. Today a new king bed.

My happy thought today is going to a gun show and finding a replacement Henry Survival AR-7.

I had one for years and carried it all over from the east coast to South American jungles. An old friend when I was in Montana really wanted it so on my return home I gave it to him. When flying my powered paraglider I would attach it and if I got stranded it was always there. Really missed it. Well now I have a replacement. I am happy .

I can carry it and an extra box or two and have only added 3 lbs to my rig. It has put food on the table many times and fills a good nitch in my gear configuration. Great gun to through in the skiff, Boat also. It floats and is only 16 inches long stored.

Always a good day when you get a new toy that goes boom.

THAT is very cool. I remember seeing those in catalogs as a kid & always thought, "wow, there's a really neat idea" (and always wanted one). I may have to get one now just to check that box. The other thing I used to wonder was, "Marlin, Stevens, Winchester, Remington... who the heck is Armalite?"

Congratulations.

I would agree with this, I've had happy feet since the election.

I had one of those when they were still made by Armalite.

+1 Guys in my bass club, with whom I fish as a co-angler, keep after me to get a boat (like I have a spare $30-60K to fling about). I just shrug & ask, "why? I've got you."

That much spare coin it better have a prop, wings, and a weight/balance table & stuff.

45 days and less than 19 hours left in the administration of the first half black president.
