Looks like a great blade. Just don't show it off until I'm back in line for my second knife. Please

They are good for stickin' muj- I won't deny it. Hopefully you gents will be able to use shootin irons instead, though.

Thank you, Tony! I now have a new respect for those who make tantos. They are more difficult to do well, than I anticipated. I'm pleased with how it turned out though.

FWIW I haven't seen any knife that you have made that I didn't like. OH my poor wallet.

Here's a quick shot of some handles I had just shaped for one of the Team knives.

First order of team knives are boxed up for shipping.

Steel: CPM S-35VN at a hardness of 58 RC
Handle: Black canvas micarta

Blades are 5.5 inches with a 5.25 inch cutting edge, and are coated with KG Gunkote. The Team Sergeant (for the ODA) said to design the knives so they'll excel at stabbing, so the leading 2.5 inches are double-edged and shaped for penetration.

Thank you, Gents, for considering me, for the job. It is a GREAT honor, and professional pleasure.

Here's a quick sketch of a new wilderness survival-type design I'm working on. Shooting for something useful but compact enough to put in a bug-out-bag or backpacking gear.

All suggestions/criticisms welcome. If none object, I'll add more pics as the design develops.

Couple blades going out to Oldrotorhead, this week. Both are made of Crucible S35Vn at 58 RC.

1: 4.5 inch blade, full flat grind, satin finish. Tan canvas micarta handle.

2: 5.5 inch blade, "saber" grind, double-edged point, sandblasted finish. Green canvas micarta handle.

I thank Barbarian for excellent work and Dusty for bringing it to my attention. I'm happy already and I don't have the knife yet.
