Walked into WalMart and found a fully stocked ammo case.
.223, 5.56, .22, .40, .45, 9 and more!
Picked up 900 rds of 9mm at $0.25 a rnd.
WalMart restricts to 3 boxes per person; good thing I had several aliases in the car.

Unfortunately, one instance does not make a trend...

So glad I don't work for the IRS? I can't even begin to imagine the chaos there right now.

I remember the first time I met my wife. I thought I had walked into a dream. It has been many years now - and I still do not want to be awakened.

Local HS Senior Art wins Google award
Local HS Senior Sabrina Bradley won the Google "Doodle" of the day award - from 130,000 entries - with her doodling of a Soldier returning home & meeting his daughter. She gets a $30K scholarship award and the school gets a 50K technology grant.
They rotate it is my understanding, today only. www.google.com
Included below in case they remove it.
Neighboring town so a rivalry but, for today, go Spartans!

Belated congratulations, BryanK!
My happy thought of the day was finding out my wife and soon to be son/daughter (she is 37 wks along) are both in good health after being in a car accident last night. My heart skipped a beat when she was a little late last night and the neighbor knocked on the door to tell me.
Buying a new car is a relatively small price to pay.

Grand Central
Our yard was Grand Central yesterday. This little black bear wandered through several times - including a trip to the deck where he stood on his back legs and looked in the window.
Momma moose and her little bandy-legged newborns showed up in the evening and strolled through.
Happy thought: These are my kind of neighbors.

Yeah, but when I see my neighbors I don't think of words like "delicious".....

Delicious and entertaining, too.
One spring we watched from the house as a brown bear followed a cow moose around the property, down through the woods, and back again several times. She lead him on for about an hour before we lost track of them both. Most likely she had a calf stashed nearby.
