Question for everyone else, How long do you stay in the Reception Battalion?

Can you keep up your running in Reception, I hear they will not let you run. It only takes a week or so for me to get out of shape.
I was in a company at OSUT with two full platoons of 18x's. It shouldn't take you more than a week at reception, unless some paperwork or administrative bs is out of order...and if it really just takes you a week to get out of shape, you better stop reading this and do more PT and hope you don't get stuck there. They don't allow running or PT while your'e there, so you have to do it when your stuck in your bay awaiting the next accountability formation (weekends). They do have a Fat, Tired, and Useless, er, I mean, a Fitness Training Unit for those who can't pass the simplest of PT tests.
