Stephen Johns US Army

Stephen Johns
HOPE MILLS - Stephen "Steve" Johns, 44, of Hope Mills, died Wednesday, Jan. 21, 2009. Mr. Johns was an Army veteran of the Gulf War. Memorial services will be later. Survived by: Wife, Betty; sons, Brandon Bauguess and Eric; mother, Brenda; and brother, David. Reeves Funeral Home of Hope Mills.

While Steve was not a SF soldier he was a goodman, a co-worker at the Fayetteville Veterans' Medical Center, came to the VA to serve his follow service member, leaving behind better pay to serve those that served. He was my friend and my Brother. He ran the CT scanner, coming in all hours of the night, holidays to help his fellow man.
You will not be forgotten my friend, your mission is over, rest my friend, and Hope that you found the peace you seek.

Steve took his own life, but he left us the happy moments in our life.
