Shooting in the Mts of Colorado

If anyone wants to join me, a buddy of mine is planing a get together for some shooting and drinking (afterwards of course) on Sat. July 15th, at his place up in the Mountains.

I'll be bringing along my latest acquisition. I picked up a Winchester M1 Garand last Sat. I'm psyched about this weapon. I've already researched the serial number.

It came out of the Winchester factory in April of 1945, and I believe it was proof tested for Korea, by the "W" stamped into the pistol grip.

If anyone is interested, just PM me for directions and or link up down here.

Let's see if we can repeat Team Sergeants amazing feat of shooting skills. Maybe the rarefied air up here can give us an edge. I doubt if we can, but hey, there's gonna be some shootin' gonna on in dem thar hills.

Looks as if it's going to be a HOT time in the Mountains here, both literally and figureatively. Temps are supposed to be in the 100s this Sat.

Anyone who was at TS's shoot a few weeks ago, could you give me specks on the distance from target and what type of weapon used, where TS shot the .45 casing off the other one that it was stacked on. Would like to see if we can repeat such a feat.

There's talk of people spending the night up there too, so this could very easily turn into a night shoot as well.
