I am a new member to the site and am here to gather a bit of information on my brothers chosen career path (he is in phase II of the Q and carries an 18D designation). I appreciate all of the great information and thank you all for your service.

Allow myself to introduce.....myself
Gentlemen,
I am an active duty squid "O" in the process of an interservice transfer to the Army. I have an overwhwelming desire to fight the enemies of our great nation in the ranks of the Quiet Professionals. I have been selected to attend SFAS where I will find out if I have what it takes. During the past few years, I served as a Detachment OIC in SBT 20 and deployed to the NAG with NSWRON 7/10. I appreciate your time and attention.

Boat Guy:
Welcome. IMHO step one is to have no doubt that you have what it takes. I never did though I am sure others weren't always sure about me.

Greetings. I am currently in the Navy, just like Boatguy, serving in NSW. I am looking to be at SFAS shortly, and hopefully the rest of the pipeline involved for Army SF. I just spent nearly ten months over in CENTCOM throughout the AOR, couldn't get enough of it. I am grateful for this website and all it's members to help me understand more and prepare for my new challenge. Thanks.

Worse than that, they will get every frigging safety boat detail for any jump within 10 miles of any water hazard.
Welcome aboard.
