Many of them have been already posted on this thread. One of my favorite photos, is my daughter working out the 1919 Browning.
This is some new additions.
The Garand with the really dark stock is Danish, the color is a deep eggplant. The other is a 1942.

I always thought those CTR Stocks looked weak in the Pictures. Until I got one. They are Rock Solid. The cheek rest is also wider then expected. CTR and SOPMOD are my favorites by a long shot.
The price on the SOPMOD is borderline criminal thou. I picked a used one up on another Forum. I see at least one come up for sale every week if anyone is thinking of getting one.
I never heard anything bad about STAG either. It's the sleeper of the AR Models. I have an LMT Upper. I am waiting for a custom STAG Lower to complete it. Part of a group buy.

From what I gather Stag is owned by the son of the gentleman that owns CMT. CMT makes the receivers and parts for a bunch of other big name AR manufacturers, most namely Rock River.
I might have gotten lucky because the fit between the Stag receiver and the LMT upper is just about perfect. No problems going together and no play once it is. Now that the gun is complete I am going to have to get some quality training done, and a second mortgage for ammo.

Chicom pistol
Not very sexy, but lots of history. I used this background to titillate the old guys.

OK, here it goes. This map was carried by me in 69-70. The pistol (Remington Rand receiver/Colt slide), flight suit (VN manufactured) and Air America hat was given to me by the widow of an AA pilot. The .45 was carried by him in SEA, and sports the hand carved ivory grips, likely purchased in Siagon (my guess). Some may be familiar with the place right below the muzzle on the first picture, Katum, and the border feature shown on the second picture. You might have to be almost as old as the pistol to really know these places.

It is a 180, made by Sterling, I believe around 1967. I have to look into it a little more.

Nice duckbill flash suppressor! Talk about a piece of 60's history.
BTW, the grips on the 45 are as tight a fit as anything available today.
