Noted basketball powerhouse.
Anyone watching the women's BB games?
I do not normally, but this team plays hard, sticks together, and can shoot.
Maybe we should schedule them against the men?

You know honestly that might not be a bad idea
The women play more pure basketball which is what the world plays
Might help get the guys ready for the type of game they'll be facing

I would pay money to see that.
Can you imagine the disrespect all of the playas would get for losing, or just giving up points to a women's team?
The girls also do not seem to believe that it is beneath them to pass the ball or play defense.

Your choice. I watched the game and didn't see anything negative about the USA team. They were just outplayed. They were beaten and dudn't beat themselves.
Ginoboli plays for the SPURS. He took eleven shots and scored 28 points -- how good is that?
As long as the USA team is beaten squarely and doesn't cry and whine about it there is no disgrace. Argentina was also the first team to have beaten NBA players. That was when the myth of NBA invincibility ceased.
It does appear that they may have been restrained from being overly aggressive, by some higher authority. Perhaps that is because of our position in world public opinion. I don't know if they were lax or were restrained. For the most part, all of our olympians have been less boiustrous than in the past. If that is the case, let's not take it out on the players.
