Wear what the Army issues you (i.e., an "issued boot"). With good socks and good insoles.

I finally had two nickles to rub together and ordered the book, looking forward to reading it!
EDIT: UPS delivered the book this morning and i just finished reading it, lots of very helpful hints and tons of motivation! Thank you, Warrior-Mentor for writing this book.

I'm looking to go to Selection when CAL NG has a open spot. In the meantime I was looking to get a hold of a couple of buddies I lost track of from a 05' 06' deployment with 5th/CJSOTF @ Syverson. Any suggestions?

I've just ordered a copy of "Get Selected! for Special Forces by Major Joseph J. Martin" and I must say that I am absolutely thrilled to read it! I hope the book makes it alive all the way to Denmark, our postal service does have a bad reputation.

Bishop, mine came in a few days - i use Amazon.co.uk, as they are within the EU customs barrier.
If in stock, it often takes 2-3 days for a delivery from the UK, I never had any missing deliveries.

Got the book from BooneGA, and have read it at least 3 times thus far.. The tips in there are indispensable. Some of the stories about the history of Special Forces are really enjoyable to read.
