Has anyone made a version of this book compatible with Kindle or is there one available? I have the actual book, but it is easier having an electronic copy when you're trying to save space (ie, on a plane, travelling, my briefcase I use for work).

And many thanks to WM for the book.

great for training

I have the MAJ.'s book get selected read about four chapters already and am very motivated about the information that has been placed in it. I am glad it is not as much as the how to factor of getting selected but yet placing your mind as the focal point in which will get you through SFAS, again I say thank you.

Does anyone have any information on the status of http://www.warrior-mentor.com ?
He probably would not think he is "bogged down". He's having more fun then most of us will ever have / deserve.
His theme song is probably "And I get paid for doin' this. . ."

Thanks Dozer. You're right. Been busy, but not bogged down.

And IF I had a theme song, it might be this one:

GET SELECTED surpasses the Quarter Million $$$ Mark for SOWF!

A friend just forwarded me this link:

LINK:
http://www.specialops.org/news/55750...llion-Mark.htm

When we first started this project, the goal was to raise $20,000 to fund one scholarship. After passing that, I set our goals at raising over $50,000 in order to be able to say we beat Tiger Woods! Since then, my sights are now set on catching up with the Steinbrenner's and the New York Yankees, who've generously given over a MILLION DOLLARS to the Special Operations Warrior Foundation.

Now it's just a matter of time...

This accomplishment would absolutely NOT have been possible without the support of ProfessionalSoldiers.com. Big thanks to Team Sergeant, The Reaper and Crew who have helped so many aspiring future Special Forces candidates through their mentorship and tough love on this site. I've spent almost nothing on advertising...all because everyone who has helped spread the word here and on other sites online.

Thanks and please keep after it. This threat and the need to take care of the Gold Star Children of our brothers in arms is not going away anytime soon.

P.S. You can find your copy waiting for you right here:

I purchased the book 4 years ago, reading it again and again and still learning from it. Ordering one today for a fellow friends young teenager who is shipping out in a month, whether he reads it or not, the donation to a great cause it what counts.

Looking forward to Reading

Sir,

After meandering through various stores in my area I came to the knowledge that no one seems to carry this book; even Barnes and Nobles. I hate buying things online, however, I cracked down and just purchased this book off Amazon.com. With the hopes of being an SF Candidate in the near future, and hopefully being among the ranks of the Best, I look forward to reading this book. Would like to thank you, and the various others, who took the time to write such a book for rookies like me.

Much appreciated Sir,

RC

@RC

I think the purpose it is sold online is so 100% of proceeds go to SOWF... Eliminating the middle man's profit.

Ah yes.. that would make sense. Does Amazon.com charge a profit for listing it? Just curious. If so, is there another site that gives 100% to the SOWF. Don't think it's too late to cancel my Amazon order

EDIT: Sorry for the stupidity. Read 4 posts up and found the site that offers 100% to the SOWF.

By chance, would any one have a copy of the Special Reports "RUNNING: A CrASH Course for Beginners" mentioned as a Bonus from the book they could send my way?

Warrior-Mentor,

I just ordered a copy of your book 20 Jan 2011. I had it overnighted and recieved it yesterday. I have finished reading it as of today and I just want to say WOW. The advice that is located in that book is bar-none. I'm kind of going in blind, in a sense, due to the fact that there are no SF units near where I currently live. My state doesn't even have Infantry units to ask about rucking adivce. However The information in this book, along with the wealth of knowledge readily available on this site will prove to be invaluable when I prepare to attend SFAS. I also liked the comment about "Reading the stickies and using the search bar" for the ProfessionalSoldiers.com reference.

Once again, Sir, thank you for putting together such an outstanding guide. I look forward to the many nights of reading, re-reading and reading again to be able to digest all of the information.
