Funny story actually: supposed to ship 20080703, got all the way to Sacramento MEPS from Southern Oregon only to be told to go home, nobody was going to be shipped till the 7th. Shuttle driver turned around and drove another 8 hours back. At least I have 4th with the family, and it was comical to see the looks on everyones face.

Congratulations! A successful reservation was completed for...

This is my second post (the first being the introduction) and I am happy to report that with the help from everybody on this website I have signed the 18X contract today. I am still active duty Navy with SERE, EAOS is 20NOV08; swear into the Army and ship out on 21NOV08. Another plus is that I got to keep my rank of E-6. Again I would like to express my appreciation for all the QP's advice and most of all Warrior-Mentor for his invaluable book. For anyone still interested in going SF, you will only set yourself up for success by purchasing their book. My biggest recommendation for anyone interested is to remain positive, apply common courtesy priciples when dealing with the recruiters and counselors, and things will work out provided you meet the basic requirements.

Cast or Tab!
