My audit defense - never lie or fudge anything on the tax form and have the paperwork to back up all deductions.
That's the best defense, Pete. The truth always works, no matter what. And, if you didn't document it, it didn't happen.

Awesome, lk! Now are you sure that hairbrush is just for the GF??? hehehe LOL

Began offically packing for my trip to Phoenix next Friday! Five days of palm trees, sun, and maybe lunch with a QP...but the best part of this trip is I am finally going to visit there, without having to go to any hopital or clinic appointments! Yea!!! Things are looking up!

Holly,Be careful about that lunch with a QP,make sure you have enough money to cover the bar bill if he tries to stiff you with it.........

Took the 1st half of the two CompTIA exams to get my A+ certificaiton. I passed, that is the happy thought. I am not happy with my score. Passing is 675. I made a mere 865 out of a possible 900. I am dissapointed with myself for not making better.. I have been scoring much better than that on the unit exams and the final. Only missed 3 out of 100 on the final and two of those were really stupid mistakes.

Cardinals Opening Day was Monday, I snuck the Little dude and the Knuckleballer out of school (we had "an appointment" -- "Yeah, sez the office secretaries as we are all standing there in Cardinals Shirts and caps, "say 'Hi' To Doctor Molina"). Took Grandpa too. Great weather, great game against the Astros. I sat in the middle of three generations of Cardinals fans. Little Dude's analysis was spot on, Grandpa shared stories of past decades (this was about hiss 25th Opening Day), The knuckleballer naming every pitch (he's good) and me . . . just glad to be one of the guys.(Cubs lost that day too)

But Dozer, what about their perfect attendance award they could have gotten in their Senior Year of School?

Our "Red Sox Nation" starts the season today against the Cardinals. Little Papi is ready to get a base hit today (which would put him one up on Big Papi from what I've seen). NOW Spring is finally here!

Earlier this week I was able to attend the Twins' home opener at the new Target Field. Outdoor MLB baseball is back in MN. I wonder what the weather will be like when they are playing late this October?

I got a good 7-mile run in with my brother last night and helped him explore career options as he is preparing to graduate with an advanced degree in biomechanical engineering.

I had the day off and got to watch my son score 6 goals in his first soccer game of the season today.

It's been a great start to a relaxing, albeit cold weekend.
