BB, isn't that the same camper shell you were trying to give away back in May? Rule1: Never get rid of anything because as soon as you do you'll wish you hadn't, especially if it can fit on or in a truck. BTW, nice looking configuration and rig!

That's my old truck and loaded up for last years hunt. I sold that truck to my son after swapping the new street tires from my new truck for the off roads on that truck.

I never managed to even give that camper shell away. I'm thinking Goodwill is the way to go.

Getting my new truck ready to go.

I took out the rear seats.

Bolt the cap and box on the truck

When driving across country its always good to take off your "Obama & Biden in 2012" bumper sticker and put on one that doesn't irritate quite so many conservative republican highway patrol officers.

New Mexico buffalo

There are a few opportunities in NM to hunt or shoot buffalo on private lands. Whether it is a hunt or just a shoot varies by the owner. The Armendaris Ranch (owned by Ted Turner) offers both. Regardless, the outcome is a bunch of organic meat at a very reasonable price. Shooting a cow ($1000) will net about 350-400lb of meat. Facturing in a packing (cut/wrap) fee and adding costs from where I live in AZ it works out to near $4.00 per pound. Happens my wife and kids really like buffalo roasts and burger. Also gives me a chance to use my Sharps and rolling block rifles for their intended purposes, a 50-90 is just not required to shoot a javelina...
