the people are so worried about being PC they fail to see the loss to the country

"Hope" you enjoy waiting in line behind everyone else in the country who is poorer than you for the health care you work hard to pay for.

If they want another job, they shouldn't be doing at taxpayer expense--do the job they were elected just like Bob Dole did.

Was talking about this at work.... Amazing that they do that... I lost track of how many were wrong with the 2-5% of the vote and what it really ended up. I'm for the media blackout 100%....

I will say this much...
If Obama does win, then I think, I would prefer they get their 60 seats in the Senate as well, because I don't want there to be one stumbling block in the way of their policies for at least 2 years. I want people to drink very deeply of the cup they have just asked for. I just pray that they have their fill before it is too late.

I echo this statement. I'd like to see if the BHO team can/will deliver all the promises, and the people pay because they played.
As young and inexperienced as I am, I keep an open mind so I want to see if my allegiance to the conservative values all these years are plain straight wrong and in the way of "change" and progress. I also want to see if the Almight is truly in control and as just (and merciful) as His messengers claim.
We've passed harsh judgement on the qualities of today's American, the youth etc etc. I suppose, it's only natural for the election to reflect those qualities.
I guess I feel ambivalence.

Does anyone remember early in the primary season, when many here opined that none of the Repub candidates excited them, and that they would like to see the Dims in charge for a few years?
We got it! Should be interesting.

I want someone to honestly tell me that its ok that Jeremiah Wright was his spiritual influence. Its ok to pall around with a man like Bill Ayers. The founders would have wanted us to take money from our neighbors and use it for government run social programs. The surge really didn't work. Tax policy isn't about generating revenue for necessary state functions, its about ensuring economic "fairness". The supreme court should decide cases based off of arbitrary inclinations to people because of skin color, economic status, etc. The Constitution is too restrictive when it comes to allowing government to redistribute wealth, and should be changed. Its a good idea to unconditionally talk to world leaders that openly advocate nuclear holocaust.
So is that it? Is that what Obama supporters, and what looks like the majority of the American people really believe?

Ask this group, they have some answers and opinions on why Obama is the right man for the job.
