Boys and dogs

My happy thought for today is the once in a lifetime relationship between a boy and a puppy growing up together...such a wonderful thing to watch. This is my 10 year old and a puppy we rescued last March. We all fell in love with her the moment she got home and these two have been inseparable since.

Interested in the travel bag on the end table. Is it a Filson?

Real quick Happy Thought of the Day...getting to spend the day reading PS.com in the warmth of my Apartment, with food, shelter, and warm blankets, while all schools in the state are shut down due to the dropping temps and incredible wind chills...( going to -15 by noon.)

As of today I'm proud to be an AMERICAN!
They even honor service members after the oath. The sky was pouring white crystals afterwards.

This means one thing: It's time to choose SR9c vs. M&Pc vs. Glock SF series vs. P2000c

If that picture of her is as a "puppy".I'd love to see her when she grows up......

On the 777th wake up in Baghdad, you don't hurt. Either dead or in heaven or it is a very good day.

My happy thought for the day: Next monday my packet will be reviewed at the Warrant Officer Flight Training board, and hopefully a week or so later we will know the results.

Furthermore, it is a great day to keep the face, and keep treading whatever water you are swimming in.

Went to Half-Price Books and found a 1st edition of Stanton's classic Vietnam Order of Battle w/cover in excellent condition for $9.95 - I had loaned my copy to someone while in Boot Strap and never got it back so was thrilled to find one...and so cheap!

Spent the commute reading the headlines, stories and commentary on Brown's win in Mass....I love it.

The scramblings up on the Hill right now just make me feel warm inside.

Have the sheep awoken???
