SFAS Physical Expired?

I am looking for a POC to help determine if my physical exam has expired. I have contaced several people and have heard many different answers. I have orders to attend the March class. The date of my physical exam is 28 March 2003 and my stamp is dated 21 Jan 04. I am working on getting another physical just in case but it would save a lot of trouble if the physical is all right. Thanks in advance.

Check with your company training officer or NCO. They should have the correct data on the date. FWIW, 20 years ago the physical was good for 1 year.

Having screened a couple hundred SFAS physicals in my time at SFQC PH-1A...

Your physical, on arrival at SFAS, must be less than 24 months old. The stamp date is not the one that determines the age, but the date on pg 1 of your 2808. Given the date you specified above my advice to you would be to get a new one.

Regardless if its expired or not, if you have any doubt is it that much trouble to simply get another one? This is, after all, your future, your career.

To employ an analogy, if you're not sure if you'll need a second radio battery on a mission, will you simply suck up the weight and carry a spare just in case to ensure mission success, or will you spend hours asking others and debating in your mind if you should bring it along, risking the mission outcome if you don't?

Its the little, everyday, mundane things that serve as excellent indicators of a person's true mettle.

Amen.

Razor speaks the truth.

Let me put it in NCO Terms young jedi.

Get off your ass and get squared away. Have EVERYTHING in your mind taken care of.

Now go out and do some good PT.

Best of luck to you.
