Nice article. They have a documentary on Discovery channel about Airborne school and that shows a lot of changes. Mostly cosmetic.

Dang Pete! You make me feel like a kid. I was in the first class of 1995, just after OSUT. I had fun and remember there weren´t too many females and cadets. Problably cause most of them were still in school. Keep your feet and knees together.

Damn sure don't look like it did in '64!!!
Shelters over the PT pits. Wet sawdust did a number on white t-shirts. Paved running track, guess cinders ain't good enough anymore.

Dyin' to be flyin'

Shoot, I can't wait to go. I've been begging to go to jump school since I got to Bragg. At AIT my Drill SGT assured me that you could not be at Bragg and be a leg, they'd drag you kicking and screaming if they had to. So I get here, and ask to go to jump school, and am told "You'll get the next slot that opens up." Heh heh now it's a year later.

That's OK! They'll send me when I pass Selection. (gotta love my can-do attitude! LOL)
