I went to the memorial, here on Bragg, and it was one of the toughest that I've been too. Until last year, I never realized that the Ballad of the Green Berets, was such a tear jerker. I also went up to D.C. and was impressed at how many people came. I would like to thank the D.C. police for escorting the entire procession, out to Arlington.

this is the first time I've been to Arlington for a very recent KIA. The rows and rows of graves beyond Jim's grave are filled with young men who were KIA in OEF or OIF. It was something my wife noticed and mentioned later. I'm not the only father with a son in Iraq, but it made the day even more somber.

This was my first time at Arlington, and I was incredible humbled. Like SP5IC said, there were many new graves there, and there were some of our brothers who died this past year.
