Signed my 18x contract this morning. Ship out 20090506. Thanks for all the great info on this site. Also, there are a lot of questions pertaining to prior service and 18x. I am prior service, so this contract is certainly available.

Shipping in the Fall
Turns out my counselor at MEPS was what he called "Baby SF" back in 67 or so.
Long story short, 18x contract secured and shipping 20090831 to Benning School for Boys.

Should I be upset, or flattered about your name?

Allow me to explain. I was a diver in the navy. Being a second class diver, we were called two charlies. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

Signed my 18x contract last week, shipping from Cleveland 20090729.
The only thing I cannot stop thinking about is being in warm weather when it will be snowing back home.

Look at your actual dates for selection. It may be August when you start basic, but it's going to be darn cold by the time you start Selection!

I go to jump school on 20100105 but for some reason SFAS is not in my contract. They told me at MEPS it would be updated eventually.
I thought it was funny too. Hope I did not get screwed.

Don't worry pjg45,
For some reason the Inital EntryTraining Dates on contracts are all jacked up.

Looks like we might be getting to know each other. Our jump dates are the same as well. See ya out there.

Correction:
(Pulled from ATRRS yesterday)
Title: SF PREPARATION AND CONDITIONING
Report Date: 07 Dec 2009 Start Date: 05 Jan 2010 End Date: 28 Jan 2010
Title: AIRBORNE
Report Date: 13 Nov 2009 Start Date: 16 Nov 2009 End Date: 04 Dec 2009
J.Mark-
Seeing as our dates for OSUT and jump school are the same (on our initial contracts) I am guessing they are different in ATRRS (see above). Check your ATRRS and see if that is the case.
