Progress is being made in the eradication of Poliomyelitis in Afghanistan and Pakistan.
I have added a link to a CDC article below. Afghanistan, India, and Pakistan are the only remaining countries in Asia where polio is endemic. There are only six (6) countries worldwide where Polio remains endimic. The remaining countries are in Africa.
