FNP-45 versus FN Five Seven?

I am looking at the FNP-45 Pistol, then I saw the FN Five SeveN pistol shooting the 5.7 round.

I shot 50 rounds through the Five Seven. I was impressed, though I am easily Impressed.

I did not shoot the FNP-45. But I like the functions and layout. I am a left handed shooter, but I want the gun to be able to be used by all family members.

I also enjoy shooting IDPA. The 5.7 has 1650 fps. Will that cut steel targets? The ranges I've shot at use a lot of steel. That and the fact if I use a 30 round magazine, I'll never have change Mags. Humm.

The FNP-45 will come with the red dot sight.

FNP-45 versus FN Five Seven.

Don't worry about cost- Which would you prefer?

I'm interested in expert opinion. I'm buying one or the other.
