Roguish Lawyer Consigliere Join Date: Jan 2004 Location: Free Pineland (at last) Posts: 8,841	Little kids and dead pets I have two boys, ages 4 and 2. I think I'm going to have to put one of our cats to sleep pretty soon. The kids have dealt with dead goldfish, but this cat sleeps with them and they are close to it. Anyone have suggestions for explaining the death of a pet to two little boys? BTW -- Teaching them to shoot the cat is not an option, OK?
