Looking more and more into them, over the past year, and even reading religious texts they claim to fight for...
I myself am a proud Christian, however, some of my closest friends are Muslim, (all of which are serving in our military, fighting side by side, killing Al-Quida operatives, including one who's serving in the 75th)
They are not Muslims, it's only a disguise...
Quran (I've read it a couple times myself) just like the Bible, preaches acceptance of others, to persue peace, etc. however, Al-Quida manipulates it, just like other Muslim Terrorists...
They know they're not fighting for God, or anyone but personal gain.
I'm personally all for suicide bombings, as long as they don't injure the innocent, or our troops, and kill themselves off... (Of which, just like in the Bible, Quran teaches you'll still essentially go to hell killing yourself, they gotta know they ain't going to get 72 Virgins, and on that note, something myself, and even one of my Muslim friends started cracking up about, well..... I did anyway lol was that Quran doesn't specifiy the Virgins as being female, let alone human

) I just wish they'd focus on blowing themselves up in their training camps rather than blowing themselves up around our Nations troops...Or even the civilian population of another nation...
I honestly wish they'd actually read the very thing they claim to be "fighting for" there is nothing in the Quran they are supporting, they aren't actual Muslims, and they sure as hell aren't fighting for anyone but themselves...
They don't care about Allah, they don't care about anything...
Looking more and more into what they do, how they organize themselves etc. (google) they resemble more of a Privatized Defense Contracting Agency, rather than fanatics...
looking more and more into it, the tactics I've uncovered speaking with troops, and what I can find online, they seem to resemble more towards Vietcong, with a Soviet Twist, and Greek Squad, Platoon, and Company orgenization structures...
Especially looking at their training camps, and information I've found on them, very interesting how they set it up... (can't help but be admired, they definitely don't "learn as they go" they have to have outside assistance/help, perhaps a European Nation? because their tactics more and more when confronted in combat, well, the more well-trained ones, resemble more and more that of what's seen in units that serve amongst the Armies of European Nations)
There was one Training Camp along the Kaibar Pass I thought was very disturbingly well set-up... But what disturbed me the most, was that looking at aerial photographs that were supplied to me, (of which have been returned, and were NOT classified photographs, or I wouldn't have temporarily received them, no indication ont he folder etc. of any classified materials, etc. as well as included a note by the MI Commander signed acknowledging a civilian will be borrowing the copies for a self-motivated project) it resembled a structure most similar to the military "boot camps" of Serbia's Army...
Reason why, Serbia's Army Boot Camp, works around hills/mountains etc. and the way they design them/configure them, I had noticed the camp that was knocked out in the Kaibar Pass, was almost identical... (You could put one picture over the other, and minus the surrounding terrain, they were almost 100% identical from building over building, coincidence? Or did Al-Quida somehow get a copy of the layout? Or were they helped? Makes you think...)
I've seen some posts regarding "outside influences" they may be getting (most noticeably Iran, Pakistan, etc.) but what other outside influences may they be getting?
With OPSEC in mind, drug money can in no way, or means be the only "source of income" for these kinds of terrorist organizations... And in no way can "Arms Deals" be, and there is no way Pakistan, as well as Iran, even combined (I've looked into it, $$$ values internationally, etc. etc.) could even amount to the proper amount of funding Al-Quida and other organizations are observantly possessing...
A BroadCasting "outpost" in Kandahar Province in total, possessed equipment that EASILY rang up WELL over $300K American (if in Iranian, or Pakistani funds, that outpost alone would have been millions in their currencies) and that's only one outpost of several I've become aware of that American Troops took down/have taken down over the years...
What are your opinions on the matter?
It's obvious they aren't fighting for their beliefs, and it's obvious they aren't able to fund themselves (at least not in a manner anyone thinks) what outside influences/supporters do you think they have? What kinds of outside help do you think they are receiving?
I've read tid-bits across the board, but haven't found any solid responses towards the topic(s)
