M4 Reference Books

I recently procured two new references on the M4 weapons system. "Green Eyes Black Rifles" by Kyle Lamb and "M16/M4 Handbook--an Operational Guide to the Standard U.S. Military Assault Rifle" by Mike Panone. I've head them both for about a month. They are both excellent references and I highly recommend them both. There are always going to be differences in opinion, but all in all they are great. The sections on malfunctions are worth the price of the books alone IMO.

I carry the handbook in my cargo pocket at all times on the range and "Green Eyes" is now on our mandatory reading list for new Instructors.
