In the QP world, "Sarge" is neither a rank nor a term of endearment Counselor.

If you really want to know what we think of the word “sarge” just find yourself an active duty Special Forces Master Sergeant or Sergeant Major and call him “sarge”. Make sure you do it in front of a few dozen spectators for a better effect.

NDD,
I like the set up. Seriously considered going the same route a while back, but went with the Eagle H-suspenders and Eagle duty belt instead. The suspenders take all the weight off of my hips/back for the comfort factor and allow more conventional mounting options for mag holders/drop leg holsters, etc. And the suspenders also allow for height ajustments, meaning I can actually lower my duty belt below where I might normally wear a belt, but still have the weight supported by my shoulders and not my hips.
Here's a sample picture of the set up. This is not my stuff...just one example of how it can be set up. This is from Eagle's website.

I refuse to be a part of that ambush
I sent a young medic PL (2LT) to get a PRC-8 from my HHC 1SG. I reminded him that the appropriate way to ask for it was not to say P - R - C, but to shorten it and say pricky since the 1SG had no time to waste with little things. Long story short, young LT asks 1SG for some commo equip and asks where he can find a Prick-E8,......... I did push-ups in my foxhole for a long-time for that one.

I took them off to see how it would ride without them. Rides good either way. I just have to fix the holster hangar issue.

NDD:
What else dont you like about the holster? Having any trouble reholstering? I had a bit with mine and never could get it figured out so I switched to a soc rig in a HSGI shroud...
just my limited experience here though...

I think all the problems stem from the way it hangs. Other than that and being new, it's fine.
