Doesn't sound like an insurance company "screwin'" - sounds like they paid, and after-the-fact went after the true culprit on their own behalf. Cool. Whether it works out in terms of actual dinero, I imagine this gives the insurers some legal maneuver room to freeze/garnish things when discovered, no?
