The hubbub over that Facebook page resulted in its removal... and subsequent replacement with numerous duplicate pages. Unfortunately, despite the original page's disappearance, the promised widespread Muslim boycott of Facebook never materialized. With that said, if they failed to follow up on one action endorsed by the group, can they be expected to follow up on any other action? Or did the ones who stayed behind merely become takfiri apostates?

Debating whether Facebook should be the means by which such activity is coordinated is futile, as there are already numerous "I hate <whatever>" pages floating around on Facebook, as well as Arabic-language jihadi websites and "Inspire" magazine. The real question is how to get rid of the hatred at its source, or at least isolate it permanently. There are numerous threads and published opinions on this website and elsewhere addressing this matter.

Would you want to leave that kind of speculation to chance?

I hear what you are saying, but there is a difference between the numerous "I hate <whatever> groups and a group that blatantly calls for a spate of terrorist attacks, beginning on xx date!!

The myriad of reports and complaints to Facebook concerning the group (eventually leading to its closure) was, in a way, a step in the direction of getting rid of said hatred. Enough people stood up and simply said "NO!".

The condition of Daniel Viflic, 16, who was wounded when Gaza terrorists fired an anti-tank missile at a school bus he was in, has taken a turn for the worse. He has been in critical condition since the attack Thursday

The Kornet is manufactured in Russia and reached Hamas terrorists in Gaza via Iran or Syria. Damascus was clearly marked as the destination of the advanced rockets that Hizbullah employed in the Second Lebanon War.

The weapon gave Hizbullah a strategic and psychological advantage. Israeli intelligence, severely hampered since Defense Minister Ehud Barak ordered a hasty withdrawal from the “security region” in southern Lebanon in 2000, was surprised at the presence of the rocket in Lebanon.

Its advanced guidance system enables the operator to clearly identify and it a target. Its intended purpose is to attack tanks, but Hamas now has employed it against school buses.

Teen Victim Of Bus Attack Dies

Sixteen-year-old Daniel Viflic died Sunday in Soroka Medical Center in Be'er Sheva, a week and a half after being critically wounded in a Hamas missile attack on a school bus.

...Daniel sustained head wounds, shrapnel injuries and major blood loss in the attack. He was airlifted to Soroka, where doctors fought to save his life.

...His mother Tamar told the Hebrew-language daily Ma'ariv, “I talk to him. I tell him, 'My child, be strong. Be strong, Daniel. Soon you will come home, in a few days. Everything will be fine.'”
