Outside diameter of the rim is 1.25", and the rim thickness (from the back surface to the first cut) is .110". I think its a Russian 20x115mm casing but I couldnt find any dimensions for that cartridge on the internet, and unfortunately there is no library where I'm at. The "77" on the headstamp looks to be a date - 1977, and the arrow is similar to the arrow stamps on Russian AK-47s from the Izhevsk factory.

Suggestion from Ammo Spec.
The round looks like the back of a cartrige for a 155 MM Howitzer round, or maybe it is foreign I am continuing to cross reference the round.

This is not a good start GrassHopper.
You received an email with directions to be followed.
You didn't...
Go back and read the message, follow the directions, then use the search function..
Failure to follow directions can be terminal...

1. Read the board stickies and rules, and comply before posting again.
2. With a stated head diameter of 1.25", and you think it is a 155mm case, that would be a neat trick.
3. Not seeing an 18 anything in your future after this start.
