Aaahem!
Notice the holes in the sheath for sewing to the lapel.
This one is plastic, but I'm thinking S30V w/kydex. Maybe a matching SMATCHET! for those social occasions when a lapel knife just isn't quite enough.

Plastic may beat security. OTOH with all of the paranoia about potential weapons, especially in schools, a sharp pencil or ball point pen makes a deadly, lethal weapon.

I know more than one Vietnam Vet who said he'd trade a bayonett for a an e-tool in a fight any day of the week.
"It'd take a head clean off."
Now if only I could get an e-tool through airport security...

Do I remember correctly: that an e-tool was COL Mize' weapon of choice or last resort?

Crayons and markers only! And only those made with non-toxic materials.
Lapel knife...interesting. Whatever happened to the Arkansas toothpick?
