pistol

Honestly, I did search. Just didn't find an answer. I know QP's are allowed a certain amount of play in the items they take to work. I was wondering what sidearm is currently in use. If this violates opsec please ignore my stupidity. Thanks in advance all.

Oh really, and just how would you know this? There are standard issue systems and then there are systems for special requirements. Those fall under tactics, techniques and procedures and are not discussed on this forum.

Okay thanks. I was under the impression that it was allowed to vary in these areas. Apologies...didn't mean to imply that I know more than I do.

You do not need to apologize, you had a question and asked it.

Roger sir, to be honest I am looking to buy my first pistol and wanted something at least close to what I would use when I eventually get to my goal.

You know you'll get a lot farther down the road dealing with folks by being up front and stating what it is you are after. There are a lot of folks with the expertise here that can assist you in your quest but don't try tap dancing around the subject.
