Some Blade Show moments I'd like to share...
So... Show is over and I'm back at home. Gladly I have alot of memories, which should keep me alive for next 12 months, till Blade Show 2008 of course! I can't even tell you how good the big bloke is. Bill Harsey I mean. He's one of the best guys I've ever met in my life and I'm glad that I can call him my real friend. Here pictured with Audra Draper, first female ABS Master Smith. Well, I've got also some of her sharp creations... awesome knives. Not combat, but rather all-round users. We've had also good time with Strider Guys, and especially Duane Dwyer (always smiling) and his friend, who told me cool & funny story about Rex Applegate and someone, who wanted to challenge him And Perry of course, who really knows how to use knife in combat. But he's also one nice & friendly fellow.

Tim Reeve & Martin, who's taken care about young Reeve during the party time in the Pit. Also I can't tell you the stories Martin told me, but I wouldn't like to face him one-to-one in dark alley...
Anne, Bill, me and Dave... Chris Reeve Team during Blade 2007
And also another Bill's talent - did you know about his fly-fishing passion? Here you can see Bill with his huge collection of hand-tied flies. Wow, Bill, whatever you do, you do it damn so good! These tiny pieces were escellent!

And last but not least... The Pacific, 1st Special Forces Group knife. Wow. I'm still impressed with the job that the Reeve-Harsey team did on this one. Absolutely awesome knife.
All you guys whom I met in Atlanta - THANKS ALOT for most enjoyable stay in US! I'll be back! Next year...

Curious that the photo of the 1st Group knife would be taken with a 5th Group beret.

That is PURELY my mistake. The beret was displayed between this one and Yarborough... ok, maybe closer to Yarborough. I switched the knives and didn't notice it's not 1st Group. However, neither the knife not beret should be ashamed to be displayed next to each other.
(TR, shall I remove the photo?)

Nope, just curious how the two items wound up together.

That is jack Alvarez standing next to Dyuane Dwyer. Was the story about COL Applegate and a former dog handler (in his 30's) who challenged the COL to a dual? Story I heard was that the COL, then in his late 70's said OK, don't I get to pick the weapon and place. The challenger said yes, the COL pulled out a pistol and said "Pistols, here and now" The challenger made a quick retreat. Later this reputed Vietnam era Airborne Ranger, and self stated bad ass turned out to have been some sort of ammunition specialist in Vietnam, was "Outed" over this fact and sort of dropped out of sight.
