SFC Tony Knier

SFC Knier was my Sr Drill Sgt during OSUT. Shortly after my graduation from OSUT SFC Knier PCS'd here to Ft Bragg where we spent many hours talking about family, the world, and his upcoming deployment. He was a great NCO, fellow soldier, and I am proud to have called him my friend. He will be missed.

Please pray for his widow Bobbi and their 3 children: Marcus age 9, Dakoda age 8, and Kayli age 2. May God rest his soul and the souls of all Our Fallen Heroes in peace and grant solace and comfort to their grieving loved ones friends, and fellow soldiers.

Reposer En Paix mon ami.

Sgt. 1st Class Tony L. Knier, 31, of Sabinsville, Pa., died Oct. 21 in Bayji, Iraq, from injuries suffered when an improvised explosive device detonated near his vehicle. Knier was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 505th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne Division, Fort Bragg, N.C.

RIP, Sergeant.

Thank you for your service, and your sacrifice.

May this Nation never forget her debt to the brave souls who serve and defend her.

Prayers out for his soul, and for the well-being of his wife and children.

Thanks for sharing, J. Sorry for your loss.
