RIP: Kassim and Mohamed

I learned today that the Iraqi Platoon Leader and Platoon Sergeant of my former Strike Platoon from the 213th IA has been gunned down while sitting in a cafe in Baqubah, IZ.

Both of these Commandos have served thier country faithfully since we invaded Iraq and the ING was formed. They completed numerous offensive operations along side of and advised by USSF.

I have witnessed both of these soldiers performance under enemy fire, and can attest that thier performance has led to the capture/detention of many insurgents in their sector. Their presence in the unit will be greatly missed!

RIP Kassim and Mohamed!

Negative to your opening statement!!!

In keeping with OUR roots, doctrine, and why we all chose the SF Road. These Commandos, like the Yards, ARE/WERE Warriors, and are a part of our realm and are our BROTHERS!!!

Thoughts and Prayers out for all. May they Rest in the Peace that their cause of Freedom and Liberty will succeed!!!

Later
Martin
