Spider milk fibers for textiles

Gents (and ladies),
There is a new fiber that is moving closer to commercialization. Its produced by spiders, has less weight than steel per pound and a favorable density. It is to be used in body armor, technical gloves etc. to name a few apps. It will likely blow away Spectra, Dyneema, and some other man made technical fibers when it comes to sterngth/weight ratios. Has anyone run across prototype products as of yet? If so, Id like to hear your comments.
Thanks
MM
