Col. Aaron Bank

My father, Colonel Bank, will soon be put under hospice care at his
assisted
living. We met with his doctor and the hospital chaplain yesterday. Today we
meet with hospice. The results of his staph test will not come in until
tomorrow,
Sunday, so he probably will not be moved until Monday. This is not quite
clear
yet. In order for you all to make plans for my father's funeral, I asked
how long
it will be before he passes away. It could be as quickly as three days and as
long as two weeks, although his heart is so weak, I doubt that it will take
that
long. However, one never knows. He is sedated presently so that he is com-
fortable and pain-free.

Many thanks from our family for the many touching messages we are re-
ceiving from our Special Forces family around the world!

Vaya con Dios, Colonel, and thanks for all you have done for us.

You will be missed.

I am sure that the plan will be executed and will reflect well on all of us.
