Thank you Mr. Harsey!
I wanted to post a quick thanks to Mr. Harsey for his outstanding work. Much has been written about this man's ability to craft steel but here is my meager addition. Like many here my need (OK desire) for a quality knife is too often met with piss poor mass produced junk. Well, today THE knife I have been after arrived in the mail. A Harsey T2 with a tanto blade. Took a while to find one on eBay but the quality is unreal. Having spent too much in the past on lesser tools I needed to relay my thanks to the creator of this outstanding piece of workmanship. In this day and age it is a blessing to find someone who honors his craft and Mr. Harsey does just that.

I think I have one of his designs in the bottom of a drawer somewhere
Oh, sorry... Bill, did I say that out loud?
Bill's the Man! Yeah, that's what I'm supposed to say.

Is that the folder? I've been wanting to get my hands on one of those myself. Post some pics!
Thanks.
And Mr. Harsey, though I don't think he likes tantos so much, makes one of the most beautiful versions ever. He is the premier bad ass of knife making for serious users. I think a lot of us knife-makers are in complete awe of him.

More like, "ALL he does TO us."
Apparently you haven't been to the shop recently... All he does is make me move load buck and stack wood... and I have to bring the beer... I think next time I go I have to trim trees and cut blackberries back.... and I probably have to bring my own machete, loppers and saws... Oh, and beer...
hehehe... So, Bill... how long do I have to live, now that I have disparaged your character?
