LE Targets
I just purchased a new set of Peltor COMTAC IIs with the hook up for our radios. After doing a lot of looking around, I went with LE Targets http://www.letargets.com/.
I dealt with Matt Schmiesing [matt@letargets.com]. He was very professional and customer service was great.
They have some pretty cool targets as well.

These are great for discrimination targets in the shoot house. Toward the bottom of the page are threat/ non-threat overlays. Good stuff. With a digital camera, some props and a color printer you can make your own to supplement what LE Targets sell. Not to side track, but I ordered a truck load of These on the recommedation of another trainer. When they arrive I'll post a review. They look promising for inexpensive, 3-D, discrimination targets.

My Comtac IIs have developed static in the right ear. Any suggestions?

LE Targets
LE Target is a good company. For the static all I can suggest is a good cleaning using a pencil eraser. Did you try the radio hook up with a different set of peltors to narrow down the problem. Got a chance to shoot the two reactive foam targets that just arrived at the house. They are foam torsos with the steel plates behind them. There are two plates behind the target. You can set it up to fall only for a head shot, body shot or failure drill. They work great. The foam is good for 2000 hits and replacement foam is only about $22.00. Put a shirt over the foam and it makes for a very realistic human target. But you can just use them as stand alone metal plate targets without the foam torso. Chest plate is 10" and the head plate is 6". The price is $200.00 per system from LE Targets, if I remember right. All my Metal that was purchased on the market came from LE Targets. Service is always excellent. Prices for pistol rated steel is very cheap. Gets a little steep when you want Rifle grade Steel. Shipping cost is cut way down when you order a certain amount. Not sure but I think it's over $500.00 and they cut the shipping cost down considerably. You could easily have a complete Steel set up for a Range for under $1500. Any plate racks I would just have made locally. Get the Plates cut and hang them up. Commercial Plate Racks are expensive. I just had holes drilled in mine and hung them on a rack with rubber. LE is the only ones I deal with now when buying Targets. There are some pretty piss poor steel target manufactures there, do your research.

Doc:
Send Peltor an e-mail. They may want you to send them back for repair. It will be free so no sweat.
I have found that the hook ups for tactical radios are kind of hit or miss with the ComTac. You may try another radio or cable before you write ComTac.
