I have a couple of questions regarding my tonsillectomy and my trip to MEPS. I was planning on joining the Army next week, because my recruiter had told me that I would be good to go already after my tonsillectomy that I am having tommorrow, but yesterday he informed me that I might have to wait 90 days to join. If I couple that with a 3 month DEP that is six months out.
. What I don't understand is why this is with such a minor surgery.
Is it a must that I disclose this surgery in say four weeks when I am fully recovered, or are there longer term effects that I am unaware of?
