I have used leeches 3 seperate times...once was a finger degloving where leeches were used to promote / restore circulation in the digit. The other two were truely expoerimental in South America. Actually only the first one, cause it worked well enough I used it again on another trip.
Acute hematoma on the ear. Choice was to cut it or attach leeches to it. Tried the leeches, worked like a charm. I got mucho cool points
